Just wrapped up the 40-hour Basic Mediation Training with Dr. Clare Fowler through Mediate.com—and it was time well spent. This wasn’t just about learning the theory (though there was plenty of that). It was about doing the work—practicing real conversations, navigating real tension, and sharpening the skills that help people move forward when things get stuck.
Over the years—as a school leader, a leadership coach, and through my work with The Leadership Link—I have seen how powerful it is when leaders know how to listen, stay grounded in tough moments, and help others find common ground. This training added new tools to that work and deepened the ones I’ve been using for years. Now, I’m looking to take these skills beyond schools and into the broader community. Whether it’s helping teams work through conflict, supporting organizations in transition, or offering mediation in spaces that need it—I’m ready to help.
